Waitlisted for Main Dining

Recommended Posts

We just booked a cruise on Splendour and remembered after that the RCI agent never asked me about dining choice. When I looked at my booking, it said second seating so I called to request Main. Of course, it's full so I'm waitlisted.

Do I have anything to worry about? I have three kids traveling with me and they'll be half asleep by then! I love to eat in the dining room and don't want to have to do Windjammer every night because we can't get main seating.

If you are C&A member, my suggestion would be to call the Crown & Anchor Help Desk (not RCI Customer Service). Sometimes they can re-arrange.

If this isn't possible, then try to get onboard early and go straight to the dining room. They will have a desk set up with Maitre 'D or an assistant who can set up what you want.

Hope This Helps.

Not sure when you are sailing.. but I have been waitlisted for my choice twice and both times I got it changed,,, looked at my reservation one day and it had been changed

We were also wait listed for Main Seating , After some phone calls and a trip to the Maitre 'D we still ate dinner during late seating!:( Some times you can get your dinning time changed and sometimes you can't.

I would check with your TA or Royal Caribbean on a weekly basis.

If they are unable to confirm your dining preference prior to your

departure, a $20 bill to the maitre'd on the day of embarkation has

always worked well for me. I'm on my 20th cruise and have always

been able to obtain my preferred dining time.
