New Stores in Charlotte Amalie

Just got back from the Golden Princess. I spent the morning in St. John and then the afternoon checking out what was new in St. Thomas.

 

There are a couple of new stores that I wanted to mention since people have asked this question in the past.

 

There is finally a MAC and Origins cosmetics outlet in AH Riese (sp?) store downtown. The prices are 10% off stateside, plus you pay no sales tax.

 

Another neat and refreshing little shop in Royal Dane Mall was a Hawaiian style "shave ice" shop. Shave ice is very similar to a snow cone except the ice is very fluffy and fine textured and the flavors are not too sweet. The name of the shop was Shiver me Timbers and the quality of the shave ice was excellent!! I had the Key Lime with cream and it was delicious! It very much reminded me of trips to the north shore of Oahu and going to Matsumotos in Haleiwa.

What woman isn't interested in a new cosmetic shop in St Thomas where the prices are definitely better than at home?
