Captain and who is the Executive Chef?

We were on the Westerdam 12/31/06 - 1/7/07. The captain was Henk Keijer. However, the captain disembarked when we did for a 4 month vacation. They announced who the new captain would be during the 4 months, but I did not catch the name. Captain Keijer is the youngest captain in the fleet.

 

The hotel manager was Rene Tuinman.

 

The executive chef was Franck Tieben.

We booarded the Westerdam today. The crew so far is amazing. We met the executive chef in the elevator...he was very friendly. His name was Christophe from France. Don't recall his last name.

 

So far, I'm very impressed with HAL. The staff has been outstanding.

I agree with Jersey. The staff and the food were the high points for us. Very friendly staff.

Can't help you. So far in our dozen or more cruises we've yet to even meet, much less schmooze with, either the Captain or the Executive Chef.

That hasn't seemed to affect our cruises, though.

Staff/Crew on Hal are always amazing. HAL home office maybe not so much...but I spend 7 days with the ship staff and that really counts.
