Car Rental on Moorea

Does anyone have website addresses or e-mail addresses for the rental car company's in Moorea? We want to make a reservation in advance but I can not locate a website.

Go to www.thetahititraveler.com website and check out car rentals. They may have a coupon for Europcar. We rented from them and it was good. If that website doesn't have a coupon, try www.tahititalk.com, as they have one. 10% off is better than nothing! And everything is expensvie in FP! But, you'll love it!

An FYI - you may already know this.. the cars on the island are standard shift. We knew before hand and were ok, but, others waiting for cars seemed surprised. Enjoy your trip!

For those who rented a car on Moorea, what did you see, where did you go, etc? Thanks!

We always rent through Europcar. I call their 877-940-6900 #. You don't even have to leave a credit card # to reserve.

On Moorea we use the car to drive around the island, stop at beaches, shop,

go to Belvedere lookout, etc. It's nice to have a car at least one day at each island, so you can venture out on your own.

Cars are also available for rent just a few steps away from where the tender drops you off. There seemed to be plenty of available cars and we had no problem getting one even tho we were not one of the 1st off our ship. Also I am not 100% positive on this but I could have sworn the car we rented was an automatic.
