Has anyone stayed in these balcony rooms? From what I can tell, they seem to be in a good location. Mid-Ship, close to the elevator and nobody directly across the hall.

I had a lido deck balcony on the Destiny, and it was the best! Just footsteps away from the pools, buffet, bar, etc.

Spriti class ships-Cat 8I room 8232-huge balcony and right below lido deck.Go up one flight of stairs and theres the pool and the food. Right next to the elevator to access the lower floors.Great room!

The secret long ones, back by the rear elevators on the spirit class ships. On the port side.

Any one of them is alright with me. We have had an 8A on the Triumph in 2001 and going back on her in a few weeks to a suite this time. Cant wait!!

A Thought for those who have an aversion to smoke. The farther forward your balcony cabin the fewer possible smokers between you and the wind.

 

Our last cruise on the Conquest we had a mid-ship balcony. Nearly everytime we were on our balcony we had to put up with a smoker on a balcony somewhere forward of our cabin. It did not matter if it was next door on our same deck or way forward and several decks lower or higher, we got the smoke. Next time we will definately try for a more forward location.

never thought of that. That is somthing to think about. I am a former smoker,and it never botheredme. but there are times It can be a little much..

Aft Wrap-around CORNERS... though these are either 9's or 11's...

 

They are somewhat like LAYS potato chips (you can't stay in one just once)!

I agree with Tom. The aft with the wrap around balcony is the only way to go. :D
