What Cruise Lines to Aruba

My wife and I are looking to celebrate her 40th Birthday on a cruise that goes to Aruba. Her birthday is New Years Day, since we tend to be a bit thrifty, I know that New Years cruises can be a bit pricey. So, we would like to go sometime between December 2007 and February 2008.

 

Can anyone provide some insight what cruise lines go to Aruba?

I think just about all cruise lines go to Aruba; just look for a Southern Caribbean cruise. Do a google search and you should be able to find the information you need. When I went to Aruba, I was on a Royal Caribbean ship.

I know Royal Caribbean's Adventure of the Seas goes to Aruba. We did the other route, but I can tell you the ship itself is beautiful. I would highly recommend that ship.

Some of the cruiselines have dropped Aruba as one of their ports due to the rising fuel costs, i know Carnival has cut out Aruba on the southern Caribbean cruise and replaced it with 2 closer ports.

I know Royal Caribbean's Adventure of the Seas goes to Aruba. I would highly recommend that ship.

 

Ditto. I went on this ship in 2004 and have it booked again this year. I'm not sure if Serenade of the Seas goes to Aruba on it's southern route, but if it does, that one is also highly recommended.

My DH and I did the AOS itinerary with St. Maartin, Aruba, St. Thomas and Curacao. It was fabulous. We rented a car in Aruba and Curacao and got to see the whole island in both cases. It was a great trip.

Celebrity does Aruba sometimes as well as HAL and MSC. NCL used to but right now they are not doing a southern Caribbean itinerary. all the linew that do the Panama canal or almost all do Aruba, even maybe NCL. Jan (around the second week) will give you some pretty good prices. The first week of December also has very good prices. NMnita

as much as we enjoyed Aruba, our fav of all the Carib, we are now hesitant to go back due to the way the govt handle case with Natalee Hollowell. If it happens to be on the iten then so be it, but we won't be spending any $'s. just my .02. :(

Every other week the Crown Princess stops at both Aruba and Bonaire (Bonaire being our more preferred island.) This past year, Aruba was on Crown's 12/23 - 12/30 itinerary. During the other week, they go to different islands.
