phabric Posted February 5, 2007 #1 Share Posted February 5, 2007 I would like your opinion. We will be in Amsterdam, one port day. We plan to do Princess' tours while there. If I exchange $50 Canadian at today's rate of exchange I would get 31.89 Euros. Would that be enough for tips and maybe a small souvenir and if we buy anything bigger would probably put on credit card.
Ine Posted February 6, 2007 #2 Share Posted February 6, 2007 That will do, if you donot intend to buy any food or drinks. Souvenirs can be bought at so many different prices. (and can also often paid by creditcard). Just keep an eye on the exchangerate, which changes sometimes by the day. Maybe you get more maybe you get less Euros for your Dollars.... phabric Posted February 6, 2007 Author #3 Share Posted February 6, 2007 Thanks for your help. Since we are stopping at 4 ports with their own currencies, I want to a little of each currency for tips. Anything other than tips, I can put on credit card.
