carnival questions

Just a suggestion...

In the future when initiating a thread, be more specific....

For example, your question would draw more appropriate responses if it read, "television question."

Simply listing it as "carnival questions," gives the reader no indication of what the question really is. After all, all questions on the Carnival board are "carnival questions."

Not meant to be critical, but rather helpful!

Depends where the feed is being picked up from. Last few cruises channels were being picked up from Denver. so if there is a particular show you want to see-- watch to see if commercials will tell you what time...usually a few hours after we are used to watching a particular show.

I got that local feed from Denver too??!! Very odd when they are showing local Denver news and you are out in the ocean where it's warm. Iv never been to Denver except passing thru so didn't know any of the references. It was pretty funny.

The CNN we got seemed more like some international version than the one Im used to.

I felt starving for national news by the time I got home.

In 2004 we got local feed from Nashville!

In 2005 I know there was an ABC feed. NHL playoffs were on.

National network feeds vary on each ship and itinerary.

If anything, we had the ship info channel on. They showed the recordings from the shopping talks, etc., as well as the official cruise video for that week. By chance we happened to catch one featuring the captain's cocktail party and the last shot was us, our daughter and cousin at a table with some other guests we had just met, all raising our glasses and cheering. What a rush seeing ourselves on the television!! (Of course we ended up buying the video.)
