What sorts of prizes and giveaways do they have on a typical Carnival cruise? I think I've read they have a free cruise giveaway at Bingo - what other bingo prizes are generally awarded? Any other giveaways we should be on the lookout for?

Let's see....free cruises, cash (as much as $2k for one of the BINGO games I played), diamond earrings, rings and necklaces, SPA discounts or free services, trinkets and souvenirs from various ports on the route...and many other items.

I found things like the free jewelry give away to be a sales pitch for the shops at our next two ports of call. If you sat through the "diamond education seminar" you were entered in the give away for a piece of jewelry.

 

I stayed but an hour on the deck would have been worth more to me on my vacation.

I always giggle when i hear over the PA system "Ladies and Gentlemen, In 5 minutes time, in the theater we will be playing our final 3-card bingo game for a FREE cruise giveaway. Only $30 for a 3-card game!"

Can you imgaine the money the cruiselines make @$30 for a 3-card game and anyone really thinks the cruiseline are actually giving away a "FREE" cruise? lol :)

Also not to be forgotten.... the #1 prized possession on a Carnival Cruise.....the 24 carat gold plated plastic ship on a stick, and last but not least, the many medals that can be won onboard for participation in ship events! Priceless!:)
