Things I'll never do again on a cruise...

Go anywhere near the art auction (even for a minute)

Any excursion that involves a bus ride (think Cozumel to Tulum)

And you?

(Giving credit where credit is due, I saw this on the Carnival board, had a good laugh, and thought it would interesting to start here, as well. Here's the original:

Happy travels to all.

I agree about the art thing--I wouldn't do it at home, why the hell would I wasted HOURS sitting inside while someone tries to sell me something?????? NUTS!

The bus ride, too----I can't think of much more miserable! (Except maybe, bingo??)

Give me a beach anyday!!!!

I will not pack all my clothes on the last night except for my little nightie and forget to leave clothes out the next morning and thus have to wear my husband's boxers and shirt off the ship and then get dressed waiting for the taxi.

LOL - that's a good one. On our first cruise, my husband forgot to leave shoes out and had to walk off the ship in 'stocking' feet. :p

hmm ... what would I NOT do again??? Share an inside cabin with my husband and two children! For Alaska, we are getting two cabins - a balcony for us and an interior across the hall for the kids. :D

But art auctions are good for free champagne!

Longest bus ride I had was across to the other side of Belize to the Xutanamech Mayan ruins. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and spoke quite at length about the Mayan culture. Was way cool.

Ah yah the champagne at the art auction was what made it fun and thus.....I was willing to make a fool of myself.....and thus won a free print!

I would not, However, believe the art auction ppl who say their stuff is

worth 10's of 1000's of dollars - it isn't we checked with gallaries

You don't get a "deal" at sea!

I would not........be afraid to smuggle booze...

I would not be afraid to book a private excursion

I would not rush ANYWHERE! Tenders, dinner.....

I would not buy every picture they took, I limit now to 2 (or more;) )

I would negotiate price in port and walk away if it isn't the price I want

I would not be afraid to make a fool of myself again, many did on our last

cruise and won more free stuff!

I would not necessarily listen to the cruise "shopping" expert - I think they

aren't always correct - buyer beware - especially in ports.

Ditto the cabin by the anchor.......

I would not expect it all to be perfect....

what else ppl? :)

YES... I ditto looking at the Sea Pass charge. |Definitely do not do it even during the cruise...hubby might have lied on casino charges and it's not fun to be mad at him during the cruise. That can wait until you're home. LOL.

Touch the hand rails on the stairs and get sick the next to last day of the cruise, and puke my guts out for 24 hours. Miss the next 2 weeks of work, while developing a first name relationship with the "John".

Sorry, got carried away - don't EVER want to go through that again.

This is well thought out!!

Obviously you have been out to sea a few times.

Especially...........it's not perfect!!! If people could understand that, the line to the pursers desk would be much shorter!!
