Desperate search for transporation!

I have been online searching for transportation from Whittier to Seward. I contacted a limo service and they want to charge $400 for 4 people. I find that is excessive, don't you? Is there any other transporation? We would like to spend the day in Seward when we get off the ship and then take the train to Anchorage. Thanks for your input!

We are using http://www.alaskatransportation.net from Seward to Whittier. It is $200 for the van for straight transportation or 225 with some scenic stops along the way (which we opted for).
