LHP Posted February 19, 2007 #4 Share Posted February 19, 2007 We used Karmel Shuttle from LAX to Long Beach (and I am sure you can arrange a reverse trip) We had an extra day when we got back so we grabbed a taxi to Avis and rented a car. I don't remember the rates for Karmel Shuttle...I just remember they were the cheapest route for our family of 4 at the time. We ended up with a private shuttle with no problems at all. MaryAnn261 Posted February 19, 2007 #5 Share Posted February 19, 2007 We just used Super Shuttle for both ways. It was $73 + tip for an exclusive van... there were 4 of us. We didn't have to wait for the van to fill up.. .it was just us.
bphman Posted February 19, 2007 #6 Share Posted February 19, 2007 There were a bunch of taxis waiting at the garage entrance. We were going to LGB which was much closer so I can't comment on the fare. It was certainly convenient to hop in a cab with no stress. I believe there were also vans but not to LGB. No lines for cabs. Very easy debarkation.
