just realised we sail out of valparaiso chile mar.11th.which coincides with putting the clocks forward.anyone know whether they have daylight saving in chile[?rest of S.A.]-presumably,being in the southern hemisphere they would put their clocks back an hour?

Spent a month in Argentina...we were there in February, I didn't think about the time?...but check out the drains they swirl the other way!!! And, really do be careful about getting in a taxi, we were robbed by a taxi driver. We found out the hard way, always use your hotels drivers.

I cannot help you with South America but here in Australia we do not put our clocks back until the last Sunday in March.
