Electrical outlets

Are the stateroom electrical outlets (the 220V) 3-prong or two? If two, are they polarized?

 

Also, is there a 220v European-style outlet (2 round holes), or UK style?

On Coral Princess, only 2 prong. (Would they be different on different ships?) Can't answer your other questions, sorry.

As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. Here are two plugs I have used with my iPod on various Princess ships. One for 110V and the other for 220V.

The electric outlets are in the desk makeup area and are US standard 110 volt and if I remember correctly they will accept two and three prong plugs. Irv

You are correct. :) That is where my power strip was plugged into on the Diamond and the Star. No converter needed, all US current and outlet. If memory serves, however, isn't there a 220 outlet in the bathroom?

Our cabin on the Coral Princess had no outlets that would take a 3 prong plug. What type of cabin were you in?
