The release says Brilliance will be based in Barcelona year round. Wonder what ship will sail the Panama Canal. Voyager class is far too big. Maybe they will move Radiance or Jewel out of Fort Lauderdale.

Well, if the Brilliance does stay in Europe I am glad we will get to go on her 2/08. I heard she is a wonderful ship.

Wow, two Voyager class and one Freedom class ship in Europe for the summer. Europe is hot right now and the Caribbean has cooled down so I guess it makes sense for them to move the ships to where the money is.

RCCL execs. talked alot about how hot Europe was during the last quarterly conference call.

Who's got the info on the specific itineraries? I am especially interested in the Navigator 10-12 night cruises to the Eastern Med and Greek Isles.

A few days ago someone posted a link to the RCI UK website that had dates and itineraries for Europe in 2008. If you aren't able to access it, everything should be on their US site on March 14th, less than a week away.:) Perhaps these itineraries will quiet some of the complaints that RCI keeps sailing to the same old ports of call. Changes coming in the Caribbean next year as well, including cruises on Legend of the Seas out of Santo Domingo. :)

I have been thinking about the Possibility of RCI and/or Celebrity deploying a Ship throughout the whole year in Europe.

 

Now it's already Reality and it's not an older Ship like the Legend or the Splendour (nothing against them though:)), but it's one of the shiny Radiance Class-Sisters, the Brilliance!

 

Wow, quite a Move for RCI and the Brilliance!
