cruise ship horns ?

Recommended Posts

Have you tried doing a search for sound effects? I know we got one off some site a couple of years ago, but can't remember the address. We did an advanced search for ship horn sound effect.

Hope that helps,

Charlie

Strangely enough, ship's horns are properly called "Ship's whistles" even though they are generally air or electric horns nowadays.

I was standing at the base of the Arcadia's funnel as we left one port, completely forgetting that the horn...er... whistle.... was rather close. To say I jumped when it sounded is one of those English understatements.

And then my lovely wife went purple from laughing so hard :D
