Dividers on balconies

We're going on Liberty of the Seas in August and want to know if the balcony dividers open on the Freedom as they are Sister ships. B&L

yes, curious about this also, we are going with friends next Mar on Jewel and have two aft cabins and hoped to open the dividers?????

Most cases they will not allow you to open the dividers between the cabins on RCCL. I've heard excuses like it's up to the Captain to make the decision. On some occasions I've seen them opened up in port and then locked back when at sea. I'm afraid it will be a wait and see sort of thing but don't count on it.

If the dividers aren't there, there goes dressing while watching the sea go by!!! You would have to keep your drapes closed for privacy!

On Freedom of the seas the dividers between the balconies can open ,it is more like a sliding glass door. You just tell the stateroom attendant and he/she has a key to open it. My parents had a connecting one with my aunt and had it opened, it is nice to have a bigger balcony!!

We were just on Freedom of the Seas this past month. We had 4 D1 balconies together and had no problem with them opening the dividers. This made for a great balcony party. Just ask your cabin steward. Pat
