julles2007 Posted March 14, 2007 #1 Share Posted March 14, 2007 Hi Cruisers! We are cruising with Celebrity and will be arriving in Key West in just over one week. Interested in snorkeling but haven't been able to find many reviews. Any information/reviews on either "Sunny Days" or "Whitecaps"? Both do a 3 1/2 hour trip with stops at 2 different parts of the reef. Would appreciate any first hand info... we would also consider other tour operators with good reviews. Thanks! Aquahound Posted March 14, 2007 #2 Share Posted March 14, 2007 I am not at all familiar with Whitecaps and Sunny Days has been so-so. My recommendation is Sebago.
Knights on the Beach Posted March 20, 2007 #3 Share Posted March 20, 2007 I second the recommendation for Sebago. We did "Island T'ing" with them last year and had a great time. The snorkeling wasn't great that day, but we had a lot of fun. http://www.keywestsebago.com/
abq_girl Posted May 4, 2007 #4 Share Posted May 4, 2007 Is there a good spot at a beach to snorkel on your own without having to do a tour?
MikeMongo Posted May 27, 2007 #5 Share Posted May 27, 2007 ...flat out, I like their boat. The Caribbean Spirit is awesome! It's an enourmous sailing catamaran. Sebago is good, too. I just like Sunny Days big sailing Catamaran with its descending "staircase to the sea." But either one will make you happy. Make sure and ask about conditions at the reef! Sunny Days is real honest about that, and it REALLY makes a difference for so-so swimmers.
