Summit Continental vs Plaza level

Hey we are doing the merry go round GTY inside thing on Celebrity Summit because we are watching our finances and cannot afford a balcony.

We noticed we got upped from Continental (floor 2) to Plaza (floor 3) about mid ship. Is there really that much of a difference? It looks like it is underneath the casino, are the casinos loud? Are they open 24/7? And does it really make a difference from floor 2 to floor 3? Plaza looks a bit more expensive.

Thanks.

We had an inside (cabin #3062) on Plaza deck on Millennium (identical layout), and it was a very convenient location, plus it was as quiet as a tomb. The best of both worlds! :)

Hey usha, you keep helping me out with the layouts, I appreciate it!:D We are in 3042 now (not sure if that is final!), so the casino shouldn't be a problem? Looks like we are nowhere near large hallways on the layout, so the only thing is hopefully the casino is not loud and the theatre sounds do not permeate down the hall!

I don't think you'll hear anything from the Casino or Theatre unless you're out in the hallway close to the stairwell. Your cabin should be nice & quiet.

Do the presence of two upper berths make a difference? I noticed our room has the two little triangles now whereas we did not have that before.

The third & 4th berths on M-class are usually a couch that folds out to a bed, and an upper berth that is in the ceiling, not along a wall like on most older ships. The extra berth is virtually invisible and takes up NO space unless it's open and being used.
