We haven't been on Carnival for a couple of years.

 

1. What is the deck towel policy? Do you still have to sign them out and return them at the end of the day?

 

2. Can anyone define the past cruisers divisions? How many cruises to Gold, how many to Platinum and so on?

On #1, you can also just bring the 'shore towels' from your room if you don't want to bother with the checkout-checkin of pool towels. Just be sure to take them back to your room or you'll find a $22 charge on your S&S account for the loss.
