Jetscot Posted April 7, 2007 #6 Share Posted April 7, 2007 Don't know about the English reports, but Elizanessie and I are from north of the border - i.e. SCOTLAND. Sorry, can't speak for Liz, but I get annoyed when we Scots get called English:eek:
Schplinky Posted April 7, 2007 #7 Share Posted April 7, 2007 Don't know about the English reports, but Elizanessie and I are from north of the border - i.e. SCOTLAND. Sorry, can't speak for Liz, but I get annoyed when we Scots get called English:eek: We're from about 45 minutes north of the US/Canadian border. I tend to lump us all together (for cruising purposes at least) and call us North Americans. Very few people in other area of the world seem able to distinguish us linguistically... Sandie Posted April 9, 2007 Author #9 Share Posted April 9, 2007 Elizanessie, On which pre-inaugural will you be sailing? I have watched the ship - via photos from some very kind folks in Finland as well as others - since January, 2006. I cannot wait for the turnover and to see your photos and hear your impressions of LOS. We are booked for February 9, 2008 and will be traveling with some friends from Scotland (Glenrothes), a couple from Bristol, England, and another couple from the U.S. We have enjoyed some great times together - we actually met on this board as we were getting ready to sail on Summit in 2002. Thanks for your reply. Looking forward to your report! Sandie
