Addicted to (Diet) Coke

NJ2FL

Recommended Posts

We are taking a pre-cruise land tour with Princess (two nights each in Fairbanks and Denali). Will I be able to hit a convenience store anywhere to pick up 12packs of Diet Coke? Too heavy to pack in suitcase.

Also, can same be said for ports? Can I bring closed soda onto ship? I know you cannot bring food.

Would also like to be able to pick up some bottled water.

thanks:o

Fairbanks is your best bet, don't know where you are staying, but some hotels have shuttle buses. Get to Walmart, Safeway, Fred Meyer.

In Ketchikan, The Tongass stores sell 6 packs. See plenty of people bring soda on board. Also a Walmart shuttle bus on the dock, sometimes overrun with ship crew.

NJ2FL - we are going on a Princess land/cruise on August 20, from NJ. My husband is also "addicted" to diet coke, so hopefully we'll be able to find some!

Hm.. that's the addiction I am trying to get rid of for years. just cannot resist the cold/bubbling diet coke..
