BakerBoysGirl Posted April 6, 2007 #22 Share Posted April 6, 2007 OK, prepare to flame away.... $6000.00 for five.. DH needed new Tag Heuer watch.. I needed to top him, and get new diamond anniversary ring... Guilt set in after we disembarked, but I do *LOVE* my ring... Usually, for five we *normally* spend around $2000.00, but we prepay our gratutities and excursions. We're on vacation!!!! You can't take it with you, so we travel alot, and don't worry about the money so much if we are having a good time. We may end up poor when we are old, but we will have alot of good traveling memories....:)

I mean, if you are on the ship, and you NEED the Teg Heuer, and a diamond ring, what are you supposed to do? Have the Captain pull over to jewelry store?;) I know exactly what you mean though, the print I bought was to finish out a set....but somehow the fact I bought it on a ship, makes it more valuable to me.
