I know I compare my receipts to the S&S bill just to make sure I'm not double charged for something and then the total on my S&Sbill and my cc bill. Both times it has come out to the penny. I think it was just a mistake on one side or the other. Or possibly, if the OP wasn't traveling alone, maybe spouse or children bought a candy bar or something. I just think there's way too much energy being spent on $.75.

Maybe not yet, but you probably will. Since you said you disputed the charge with your credit card issuer, almost certainly the first thing you will get from them is a temporary credit to your account. In the meantime, they will most likely ask you to support documentation backing your claim, including the results of your effort to work it out with the merchant. If you don't bother going after the merchant yourself, they will probably not do anything about it.

Yeah I thought about that,but I have the printout showing all my charges and even the final return of my deposit thus showing a balance of "0".

 

I might have made myself some work:eek: . I got nothing better to do so my curiosity is getting to me now.
