Anyone sailed the Magica, Victoria or Classica in So. Am?

Hi!

I've sailed to SA on the Golden Princess, which not one of the ship listed. However, I sailed the MAGICA to the Mediterranean (with Egypt) in 2005.

Knowing the itinerary and the ship, I would definitely try to go on a smaller ship. The Magica has just too many people on her... it was always a nightmare to disembark and re-embark the ship. And I don't mention the line-ups at the buffet.

But the SA cruise is a wonderful itinerary and is one of my favorite so far!!

Good Luck!

MC

We have been cruising with Costa in Brazil every season since 1999. We loved! Magica is coming for the first time next season and we have already booked for reveillon cruise. Last season the cruise in her sister: Fortuna.

We also cruise with Vitoria, a very nice ship, but smaller then Fortuna.

During the season, Costa ships are adapted for Brazilians: food to local taste (similar to european), portuguese is the spoken language, and most of the staff is portuguese speaking.
