Princess Land Tour Attire

On the land portion of our cruise tour to Denali and McKinley, I understand that we will only be able to bring one suitcase per person, and that any other luggge (besides our carryon) will be waiting for us at our final destination.

I'm trying to get a feel for what type of clothing to bring on this portion of the trip. Obviously, we will leave behind any of our formal night attire, but is there a need for any dress slacks or skirts for dinner or is everyone pretty casual? Will jeans, sweaters, and hiking boots be fine? Any other packing tips?

We will be there in late May. Thanks for your help!

Jeans, sweaters and hiking boots are just what you need. Plan on layers. Rain gear, gloves, and hats, since it may still be cold in May.

No need for anything dressy, everyone wears casual clothes even in the dining rooms and restaurants of Fairbanks and Anchorage.

Enjoy your trip.
