Kauai suggestions--day 2?

Does anyone have suggestions for what to do on our second day in Kauai? We will be on PofAm. On the first day, we are taking the Waimea canyon/ fern grotto tour offered by the ship. The second day is quite short, as we leave port at 2pm. Does anyone have recommendations of good tours that are offered that day? Or alternatively, are their good activities we can do on our own (without a car rental) from the Pier?

On our second day we are doing the one hour air plane flight (10am) Big Kahuna.Its an air view of a lot of what you saw on day one.Its suppose to be great.Flight is thru airadventures. Its $99. a person.Dot

If you enjoy beaches and small shops just walk to the beach by the Marriot resort. Its about a 2 min walk. GREAT beach, few shops and restaurants. Heres a pic looking at the America leaving.
