viciouslysh Posted May 14, 2007 #1 Share Posted May 14, 2007 Would you recommend the stingray, reef and rum point excursion to take a 9 and 2 year old? Between that tour and the Singray/Island tour...which is better? Thank you!

guntheros Posted May 15, 2007 #4 Share Posted May 15, 2007 Well, you may need to get confirmation, but the island tour may be off as the turtle farm increased their prices from $7.50 to $50 a ticket!!!! So... I heard that nativeways is no longer doing the island tour. Again, this is hearsay. As far as if the children would be okay with this, I can't answer that. Sorry to but in! jacobbear01 Posted May 15, 2007 #5 Share Posted May 15, 2007 definitely take them, we took our 10 and 5 year old last year and it was one of the hilights of their trip...also, get the video of the trip..well produced, and the kids watched it over and over again....also get a life vest for the 2 year old before the trip, the vest kind...that way you can adjust the vest before you go, and the 2 year old can bop around with you easily..... ken_nyc Posted May 16, 2007 #7 Share Posted May 16, 2007 I forgot it was the rays, reef , and rum point trip.... Has anyone had a problem with them getting you back in time for the last tender? I do not want the stress of having to rush like a lunatic to make the last tender.
jacobbear01 Posted May 17, 2007 #8 Share Posted May 17, 2007 no trouble getting back in time for the tenders.....no stress...also pickup disposable waterproof cameras they sell in walgreens/target/walmart...they work great, that way you can enjoy the trip without worrying about water/sand running your expensive camera..... workinmom3 Posted May 20, 2007 #12 Share Posted May 20, 2007 I just booked them for our Sept cruise on Enchantment. Very professional email received back from the next day. The emal said we would be finished around 1:45 Central time. We are in port until 5, that sounds like plenty of time to make the tender back to the ship. Hopefully, everything will go as planned.
