natesfirewife Posted August 10, 2004 #1 Share Posted August 10, 2004 I have read all about the tours that everyone has taken to Stingray City but I wanted to find out if there were tours offered when you get off the ship at the pier? We want to go to Stingray City bet we are signed up for the Snuba tour at 2:30 and need to see if there is a tour that we can fit in. Our ship starts to tender at 10am and I am worried that we will not make it back in time. The Cruise Line offers a tour that looks like it'll work but it is twice as much as the independent tours and I would rather go that way. Any suggestions?? Thanks, Misty
montgomeryfamily Posted August 11, 2004 #2 Share Posted August 11, 2004 Capt. Marvin's has a two stop snorkeling excursion that runs from 11:15 to 1:15--seems like those hours would fit within the time parameters you have. Kathy
natesfirewife Posted August 11, 2004 Author #3 Share Posted August 11, 2004 Thanks Kathy for the info, I will check it out. Does anyone know if there is a tour that goes to just Stingray City?? We are doing the 3 reef snorkel trip in Cozumel and the kayak trip in Costa Maya. Along with the snuba tour that is a lot of fish watching and I am mainly concerned with Stingray City. Krazy Kruizers Posted August 11, 2004 #4 Share Posted August 11, 2004 :) If your ship doesn't start tendering until 10, and assuming you are among the first to get off the ship, by the time you get ashore and "buy" a tour to Stingray City, go out there, return to town, you are cutting it very close to your 2:30 excursion. :)
