font and Color

The new CC page has a light blue font and is sort of small. At least mine is. Anybody know how I can change it. Walt gave me a suggestion but it didn't work.

I don't think you can change what you view wholesale. You can change your own font by going into "Options" and "Advanced" text (at the very bottom) into WYSIWYG, but it won't change your general view, I don't think.

I'm a bit confused but we have no "fonts" set for light blue...we are using either black or a navy blue font. Can you provide me with more informaiton, such as what browser (& version) you are using?

Laura, I am using Windows XP/MSN internet explorer. The font may be navy but it is very light. Is there a way I can change it to black?

Mine is the same way and I have the same things as ships! The text is so light it bothers me late at night!

Is there a way of adding another template for people who may need a font size 12 or 14 in bold black or bold navy blue? I notice that there are 2 or 3 available now, but none appear to change the font size or color. I am using I.E. 6.0 128 bit, latest upgrade to this version. I can not seem to change the font size of your board by changing my I.E. font default either.

I have a MAC, so I thought maybe that was the problem. When I type it is black, but on the boards it is a medium blue. When I try to change the font/size/color - the code appears but no changes.

 

For example:

This is supposed to be Franklin Gothic Medium / size 5 / color purple

P.S. Is there anyplace that could give us hints for Mac users?

I can't change mine either. It is really hard for these aging eyes to read. Somebody figure something out, please! Hosts, can you do anything to offer an alternative font color and size?

Changing it from the settings on this board is not going to do it.

 

Did you try changing the font size in your Control Panel on your PC?

How do I do that?

By changing your computer/monitor display size from lets say 1152 x 864 to 1024 x 768 will make the size of displayed letters bigger and easier to read.

Go to Programs,

Control Panel

 

It now depends on your operating system what you choose next. Mine is XP so I choose Appearences and Themes, then Screen Resolution, Advanced, then change the font size. Win 95 is different but you should be able to figure it out if you go through the tabs. Before you start changing anything write down the values you start off with in case you get something you don't like. You can at least go back to your starting point.

Gizmo, thanks. I have XP also. I did as you suggested. It did change my font size on the computer but not on the Cruise Critic messages. :(
