Sun Princess - cabin question.

Looking at this ship. Having never cruised before, we'd like a balcony cabin. If we are near an elevator, does it really matter which deck of the ship your cabin is on?

Also, can anyone tell me if the balconies on this ship are covered or not?

Thanks very much.

Sun Princess' balconies are "hullcut", hence covered.

Being near an elevator can be quite convenient for getting about. Only in very heavy seas do I care not to be near one - it is disconcerting to hear the elevator cabins banging about in their shafts!

You may want to read through this thread...

post #30 discusses some "adjoining balcony" issues on the Sun. (This affected us directly ... and we changed our booking.) It may not affect you.

In the same thread, there's also a discussion about privacy, but that may be on another class of ship.
