pickleo Posted May 18, 2007 #1 Share Posted May 18, 2007 Does a baby still pay a 3rd person/child price? Looking into the Mariner this July. I'm thinking it does, becasue when I did a "mock" reservation, it simply asks for the number of children attending, but not their ages. Anyone have any experience with this? Tuna Posted May 18, 2007 #2 Share Posted May 18, 2007 Yes. Everyone pays regardless of age. Sorry.

pickleo Posted May 18, 2007 Author #4 Share Posted May 18, 2007 Thanks! That is what I thought. Just wanted to verify it!
Tuna Posted May 18, 2007 #5 Share Posted May 18, 2007 Is it Pick-Leo or Pickle-O (like Piccolo)?
Queen of Hearts Posted May 18, 2007 #6 Share Posted May 18, 2007 unfortunately regardless of age, they pay the same. The nice thing about a 7month old is that you are not confined to only booking a triple cabin. As long as the ship can hold a triple, you can book a double room and put a crib in it. Annie3468 Posted May 19, 2007 #8 Share Posted May 19, 2007 Yea, we paid full third person price for our 11month old g-daughter in Feb. Also had to have a passport. We were told, if they have a pulse, you have to pay.
crusinmama06 Posted May 19, 2007 #9 Share Posted May 19, 2007 There is a $99 sale (3rd and 4th person in the cabin) going on for SELECT cruises. I saw the special listed here and put in on the Family Cruise board cause I now it's tough sometimes for families to pay full price for the kids. Here's the link to the thread http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=556943 It could be worse...I paid $899 EACH for an infant and a young child on Disney Magic. ;)
LindaandJeff Posted May 19, 2007 #10 Share Posted May 19, 2007 A seven WEEK old at our dinner table paid full third person price!
Twice_a_year Posted May 19, 2007 #11 Share Posted May 19, 2007 Smuggle the child in your carry on bag. They will be too busy looking for booze to notice the child. Just kiding! It is true you have to pay the 3rd person rate. It is a shame but I guess the fare can carry the burden and, after all, RCI is in the business to make money.
