Sunday afternoon in Curaco

We'll be in Curaco on Sunday afternoon from noon to early evening.

 

Has anyone been to Curaco at this tme before?

Does anyone know if many stores will be open... if any.

Some will open when they know a cruise ship is in port.

But remember, even on a regular weekday, the majority of the stores are closed from noon until 2 PM.

I was there on a Sunday about 2 years ago. We were docked all day. A handful of stores opened in the morning and closed about noon. The town was dead all afternoon. :( The casinos will be open.

 

There will be a lot of nice stands with vendors where you dock.

 

There is a sea aquarium with dolphin swims. If it were me I would plan on doing something other than shopping.
