Hi Guys

Just about to book a cat BC balacony cabin on the Aloha Deck of Island Princess for a northbound cruise.

Anybody got any suggestions for a good cabin - port or starboard?

Cheers

From what others here have posted, IF you plan to do most of your glacier viewing from your balcony, then you want the port side. Apparently that side of the ship sees Glacier Bay and College Fjord first. If this is for June 2007 - I'm surprised you have a choice of balconies.

We will be in B503 in mid-July. It is a bump-out cabin and the balcony is fully covered. I have heard that is important in Alaska given all the rain but does not matter to some. It didn't matter to us really - we got lucky picking this cabin. There is a website that shows the cabins and which balconies are covered. The person spent a lot of time on this. If I can find the link, I will post it. I would review it before you book.

Found it. http://mysite.verizon.net/res76zxu/princessbalconies/index.html

WOW, thanks for posting that link. We have Dolphin 724 & 726 (port side) on the island leaving the 11th. One is covered one is open so we should have the best of both worlds :) Can't wait
