LadyLeo84 Posted June 9, 2007 #1 Share Posted June 9, 2007 Just wondering if anyone has the price list for "The Mariner" for the laundry/dry cleaning in case we need to have something washed or ironed while on board. Thanks

8 Bells Posted June 10, 2007 #6 Share Posted June 10, 2007 I'm really glad I found this thread as I was just wondering the same thing! We are going on a 7-day Med cruise next month, and in order to cut down on packing, I was thinking about just using the ship's laundry service. Glad to know they do a good job, too. When you need a few things washed, do you notify the cabin steward, or how does that work?
jules815 Posted June 10, 2007 #7 Share Posted June 10, 2007 There's a bag in your room for you to put your dirty laundry in. You write your name and room number on the bag (bring a sharpie!) and leave it for your cabin attendant. We would leave the bag on our bed. Ours always came back very nicely washed and pressed, and much quicker than we thought it would. And we never expedited the service.

We left the things on our bed so the steward would see them. They were back by 4:00 the next day.
Nliedel Posted June 10, 2007 #9 Share Posted June 10, 2007 I've never been sorry to use this service. It's a real headache saver and it does cut down on packing. I'm uptight about not wearing drity clothes and this service is a lifesaver for me.

I'm in the process of packing now for our cruise next week, and my husband is only packing one dress shirt for formal nights this year and having it laundered on board. I also won't hesitate to use them for things like shorts or beach cover ups that might get dirty early on in the week that I want to wear again.
