Mexican food on cruise?

Just wondering do they ever have mexican food on princess?

Yes I have seen tacos, burritos etc in the HC. :)

Quite common to have a Mexican themed lunch in the Horizon Court one day of the cruise.

Even though served, I do skip it. Mexican food and my stomach do not agree.

You might find a few Mexican dishes on the menu and, more likely, something in the buffet every now and then, but chances are they aren't what you expect.

they usually have themed meals for lunch in the Horizon court, I remember German, Asian and Mexican. The Mexican wasn't bad, but very tame -- certainly didn't go hunger, but do I ever when I am on a cruise.

Is the food in the Horizon court included with your cruise or is it extra?

Redjuliet..food in ship's buffet, HC etc is included in your fare, as are Pizzas and Burgers and of course main dining room. When on Pacific Princess last year, room service was no charge also. You only pay for the likes of Sabatini/Steakhouse if the ship has those, Regal does not.

The Horizan Court is the 24 hour buffet that is included on virtually every Princess cruiseship. The only extra cost food onboard are the specialty restaurants and some ice cream.

Princess, I love them, their Mexican food, NOT! I sincerely appreciate the effort, but they shouldn't bother! The only thing passable was the fajita's, and that's because you make them yourself! Phyllis

Not the same "Mexican Food" we have at home - so kind of disappointing. We could eat Mexican every day - one of our favorites. Sometimes you just want a margarita and some chips and salsa or guacamole....but that is pretty hard to come by. :o

Hi - We just got off the Diamond Princess. The Sante Fe Dining Room (anytime dining) had chicken or beef fajitas. This was not listed on the menu but it is the signature dish for that dining room, just ask for it. The fajitas were good!

Actually, the Golden Princess Horizon Court had good chips and guacamole every afternoon on our South American Cruise. But one had to get there in time before it all got finished! /Sultan

they had mexican one day at the buffet on the crown but it wasn't that great...kind of buffet quality:rolleyes: and very mild/bland.. so don't hold out that much hope!!

I'm a big fan of Mexican food! I just had some yesterday :p It's my third favorite, after Italian and Chinese. Princess Mexican food isn't that bad. But one time they had some on a Carnival ship in the dining room and I got so sick.
