FLL Restaurant featured in Rachel Ray's $40 a day

A while back my DH and I watched an episode of $40 a day where she was in FLL and she ate at a place called Max's I think. They had a great lunch special for like $3.99! Just wondering if I have the name right and if anyone has eaten there? We will have a couple of days in FLL before our cruise and we are looking for decently priced places to eat that we don't have here in CA!

Would also like to find a place that features those famous stone crabs!!

Also looking for the best place to take an airboat ride!

I will be there in early November after a cruise also, we will be looking up these choices along with her South Beach Miami suggestions from another show. Great idea to use her shows, thank for posting. Carole

I hope that the guy who wrote the review just had a bad visit! If not, I don't think we will be trying it! So different than what Rachel Ray had to say......could a restaurant change that much???

Still looking for that great place to have stone crab and a place to go on a airboat ride!!
