What did you forget to pack?

For those of you who have done the South America cruise around the Cape - what did you forget to pack that you wish you had brought? (Our trip will be the end of March / first of April). Did you overpack? Underpack?

We have cruised this area twice; most recently this past February.

 

The key to packing for this trip is to be sure to bring clothes that you can layer and to bring a variety of warm weather clothes as you go further south and around the horn from water proof pants and a water proof jacket with fleece and globes and a hat and sweater. Likewise, be sure to have clothing for areas that are warm (eg, Beunos Aires, Valparaiso, etc.). No one can predict the weather so you might end up bringing something that you don't need but better to have the right things with you.

 

It is an outstanding cruise. The scenery is breathtaking.
