Where is the Pride this morning?

It's 9:00 a.m. here in Long Beach, Ca. and the Pride still has not arrived. She is usually here by 6:00 a.m.! This happened one other time and I learned that she had diverted to San Diego to drop off an ill passenger before proceeding on to Long Beach.

Anybody hear anything this morning?

There is a San Diego Cam and right now there is only a RCCL ship in dock. The cam is at http://www.sandiego.com.

I just called Carnival and all that I was told is that there was a medical emergency. They would not provide any further details. :( But they did say the ship should be arriving in about an hour.

HOW FUNNY that I am not the only one watching for her!! I am here watching the CAM too...no PRIDE...I was wondering where she was too....

 

If my calculations are correct...today may be the imigration check day too.

I'll bet the people waiting for her on the pier are wondering the same thing :( . I hope the Carnival personnel are keeping them informed of what is happening. I would be interested in knowing what the emergency was.

I just checked the Long Beach Cam and couldn't see the Pride. Isn't it funny how we all check each Sunday?

There she is! :D When I was watching the local news this morning, during the weather report, they always show the Long Beach cam. It's amazing how the first thing I notice is the Pride at the dock. Imagine my shock when she wasn't there this morning. Hopefully, we will be able to get information on the medical emergency from someone who was on the ship.

In the past weeks I saw on the board several passengers who are on this cruise....hopefully they will come back on when they get home and fill us in on what happened.

I don't know if someone already posted re Pride but we had to turn back to Cabo 2 hours out on Friday night. Someone took very ill and the Captain /doctor felt that the patient needed medical care asap in Cabo. So, 2 hours back to Cabo, arrived about 10:30 am in Long Beach.

Kathy just read on another cruise board that a woman went into premature labor....good call to turn the ship around! Hope mom and baby are OK.

Ya, a woman was in premature labor and had to turn the the ship around after 3 hours of leaving Cabo, but we got to Long Beach around 11 am and everyone was off around 2:30 is
