Heated pool?

Hi, we recently booked the Eurodam for next July, the Fjords and Scotland itinerary. Does anyone know if the pool(s) will be heated? Is that usual on northern European itineraries?

Since she'll be a brand-new ship your guess is as good as ours.

I've sailed the northern climes many a-time and spent time in the Lido pool quite comfortably. Actually, I think it's a kick to be in the pool or the hot tub as you pass icebergs and glaciers. :)

So I guess the pool must be heated. :confused:

Jacuzzis and Thassolotherapy pools are heated of course, but I don't think that regular shipboard pools on any ship are heated since they are emptied and refilled so often...

The forward pools have retractible covers. When we've sailed that far north the covers were usually closed, or cracked open just a bit. The aft pool is out in the open.

Don't you know the water from the pools cool the engines and are used for fire fighting.

Oooooooooookay, thanks! Guess we'll just wait for the surprise. Hopefully someone on the inaugural (sp?) cruise will give us some tidbits while they're onboard!
