IHateSnow! Posted June 25, 2007 #1 Share Posted June 25, 2007 Booking a cruise on AOS for the 03/02/08 sailing. Here are the options/prices I picked for rooms. This is my 7th cruise 6th with RCI. I've never had a room higher than a balcony and I'm debating if it's worth the extra $$ to go to a junior suite or grand suite. So I'm open for opinions. Here are the rooms/prices Grand Suite 1260 Deck 10 - 3462 before $150 coupon & 100 platinum discount Junior Suite 9324 Deck 9 - 3062.74 before $150 & 100 discount Balcony 6322 Deck 6 - 2062.74 before $150 coupon & 100 discount There's just 2 of us going. Logic would say take the balcony since its 1k cheaper, however I'm also going for a good location etc. Is there a HUGE difference between balcony & JS? I'm presuming there is a HUGE difference between balcony and GS - but is it worth $1400?? So what would you do? Thanks!

The only difference between a JS and the balcony is the bathtub in the JS and a few more square feet of space (not much). I'd use the money for excursions, drinks and the casino. Ann Me too, but then I'd book an interior just to save the extra $, it's the DH that likes the balcony. d
voyager70 Posted June 25, 2007 #4 Share Posted June 25, 2007 I'd go with the balcony as well. I've stayed in JS and D/E balconies and like Apoggi said the only differences are the tub & little bigger seating area. More closet space in the JS, but for two people regular balcony rooms have more than adequate storage.
