yogimax Posted June 25, 2007 #9 Share Posted June 25, 2007 You had better believe it - miss out on this one and you will never have another chance.... well...... at least for another two weeks!
chriscruises Posted June 25, 2007 #10 Share Posted June 25, 2007 As usual, Carnival's "free" upgrades aren't free at all. They raise the cruisefare to cover the "free" upgrade.
delluser Posted June 25, 2007 #11 Share Posted June 25, 2007 So when I call my PVP and ask about the sale, what should I ask for specifically? The rates listed are higher than I paid, can I still get some kind of deal like OBC. I'm not sure I want an upgrade...I have an aft balcony booked...if offered a suite should I take it? This will be our first cruise so I'm not sure what the best like of attack here is.
chriscruises Posted June 25, 2007 #12 Share Posted June 25, 2007 Sorry but that's not how the sale works. They're not going to give you anything if the rates are higher than you're currently paying.

jpmaximus Posted June 26, 2007 #15 Share Posted June 26, 2007 Most of these so called deals can be had later. Not really as big as advertised.

yogimax Posted June 26, 2007 #17 Share Posted June 26, 2007 I think they have a BIGGEST ONE DAY SALE EVER about once a month...lol!!! yeah, this whole thing is a joke. Carnival needs to understand that its clients can see through this sham
SouthernCaribbean Posted June 26, 2007 #18 Share Posted June 26, 2007 yeah, this whole thing is a joke. Carnival needs to understand that its clients can see through this sham Many on this board see it as a sham, yet the sales are so successful for Carnival. I bet there will be 15 threads on Wed/Thur about people that booked during the sale. If someone is new to Carnival the deals are not that bad. I can always get a better deal booking the past guest rate.
