Laundry facilities on the Zuiderdam

We are going to Alaska in August and wish to travel as light as possible, can someone tell me if there are decent washing facilities on the Zuiderdam or how much laundry costs for shirts, blouses, etc.

There are no self-service launderettes if that's what you mean. IIRC the laundry service price per bag is either $12 or $13 in AK. Read through this thread.

Just got off the Alaska cruise (waiting in Vancouver airport). Unlimited laundry is available for $45 (and it is worth every penny). Your room steward will look the other way when you ask if its per person (if it's under one name, doesn't matter).

Ryndam has self service laundries. $2 to wash and $1 to dry.

 

The prices of the unlimited keep changing by ship and itinerary.

Just remember that everything is washed in HOT water and dried on HOT. So be careful what you send out to the laundry.

In the HAL hotel/lodges, are there self-service laundry facilities? What about hair dryers?

Your room steward will look the other way when you ask if its per person (if it's under one name, doesn't matter).

He doesn't have to look the other way - the price is per bag - period.

On our cruise, it was not per bag, it was $45 for unlimited laundry for the duration of the cruise, with the caveat that you had to allow 48 hours.
