St. Thomas to Virgin Gorda

There are a few operators that have excursions to the BVI and hit the Baths on VG and stop at Jost (Soggy $ Bar) on the return. Stormy Petrel / Pirates Penny, and New Horizons. SP/PP is very popular. Check their sites to email them to see if they're back in time.

Hi.. Anybody know if we can go from St. Thomas (arriving at 7:00 and leaving at 4:00) to Virgin Gorda in a day? If so, how? Is is far? Thx

Princess now offers this as a shore tour on some sailings with port stops in St. Thomas.

Has anyone actually done this? I've done the tour on a land vacation, but would be hesitant to try it from a cruise ship unless it was on a ship-sponsored excursion. It's a long way and there's a stop on the return trip at St. John to clear US customs. Seems like there could be lots of room for delays. But if someone has done this and gotten back in time, I'd love to know because it's a great trip.
