Summer or fall clothes for Med in Sept/Oct

You will probably have many nice days at that time of year. My advise is layering and color. Black, tan, navy cottons or knits which can be interchanged. I got a lot of wear out of black Travel Smith chino slacks, black knit capri's, black sleevlees long knit dress that had a mathcing long sleeve jacket, tan linen jumpers, navy skort, etc. All of these basics where matched with various white or color tops or t's. I did not bring turtlenecks or what I call true fall clothes like sweatshirts or sweaters but did have a lined nylon windbreaker with me in my backpack just in case of a shower or cool airconditioning. For evening wear, I stayed away from Tropical prints but never felt out of "season" with my basic lighter weight fabrics which are much easier to pack. Stick with comfortable shoes like aerosoles 4 ways, or good leather sneakers for daytime. It doesn't matter what style shoe you wear on board with your evening outfits as long as you are comfortable.

Bon Voyage
