Since I've never been to either, I should keep my big mouth shut, but our group of 6 has decided to stay at The Rendevouz. If you contact them directly, as we did you can get your room for $170 NZD rather than the $195 NZD published on their web site. That's just under $134 USD per night which we didn't think was bad.
