Orient Express Hotel Istanbul

Has anyone stayed at the Orient Express Hotel in Istanbul? I have reserved a room prior to our cruise on Aug 20 Insignia. Looked nice and a good price including taxes and breakfast.

Does it have any other name? I don't recognize the Orient Express Hotel, which, of course, does not mean a thing.

Assuming you mean the hotel by that name in the Sirkeci section of Istanbul, 31 traveler reviews on TRIPADVISOR give the hotel a very good rating. The average room rate listed there is $115, so if you got it for less, it would seem you are doing well.

We stayed at the Orient Express in November, 2001. The pictures on their website are fairly indicative of the hotel, which is fine. Good location, good buffet breakfast, well appointed (but small) rooms. If we were traveling to Istanbul again would definitely stay there.
