Christmas Markets along the Rhine/Main Rivers

We're thinking of doing a cruise with Vantage on the River Navigator for the Christmas Markets. Only cabins left are in the B2 category. Does anyone have any experience with this ship or tour Company? Also, how are these markets in comparison to the Danube Markets? Our only other river cruise was on the Poetry, Budapest to Prague.

You can´t do much wrong with Vantage. Regarding the Christmas Markets: The more traditional ones can be found on the Danube river and Canal (Nuremberg, Salzburg, Vienna and the smaller ones in Passau and Regensburg). Christmas Markets are a more Southern tradition (Bavaria, Austria) but now you find them all over Germany.
