Are all Mini suites the same?

I am on the princess website, and am confused... It says that mini suites can go up to 500 sf? I am about to book the Ruby, which I have been told will have the same room configuration of the Emerald. Can anyone suggest a stateroom I should request? Thanks as always for your guidance and suggestions :)

All the minisuites on Ruby Princess will be exactly the same, with just a very few exceptions. The total room size including balcony is 323 sq. ft. for most of them. The exceptions have an extended balcony and are the same inside. They just have more balcony area. Princess includes the balcony area in their area measurements, and that creates some of the differences you might be seeing.

When Princess says "up to 500 sf" as a general statement they are talking about across the whole line. Those that big are on ships like the Dawn and Sea Princess which have oddly shaped mini's. The Grand class ones are pretty standardized around 325 sf.

Mini suites on Sun Class ships are totally different then Grand class ships.

(They are more like a suite on Grand class ships).

 

Some aft minis on Grand class ships are not the same as the minis on Dolphin/Emerald decks. :)
