Bungee Cords

I'm going to try the bungee cord advice I've gotten from so many people on here on my next 2 cruises on the Carnival Pride and Carnival Conquest. On the Pride, we have an aft balcony on Upper Deck 5 over looking the wake but it is not the wrap around. On the Conquest, we have one of the aft wrap around balconies on Upper Deck 6. I was wondering, how long should the bungee cords be on these cruises to hold open our balcony door at night?

Thanks in Advance!! :D

If keeping your balcony door open is your goal you can easily use the door stopper from your cabin door. Open the balcony door wedge it on and wala it stays open. On our June cruise there was no way we could have slept with our door open at night. We'd have been soaked from the humidity even with our air conditioning running!

I wouldn't advise that at all.

A stray lit cigarette could enter your cabin.

The humid sea air would be in your bedding and all your things.

That's what I thought,too.....

unless you like that sticky salty feeling on everything.

Strange what romantic notions people have, huh?

Not to mention sleeping in a sauna.

See, in the sauna, I use a bungee cord to keep the door open to the hall, as it gets so dry in there.

I tend not to make many friends during my visits, except those that miscontrue the cord.
